Hi, I’m Ari!

I am a science journalist and audio producer based in Little Rock, Arkansas. I started my career as a chemist before launching into science reporting. Now I can find a molecule at the center of any story, but give me a bird I will build you a world.

I am currently the managing producer for BirdNote Daily. I’ve previously published work with Science, Nature, Audubon, and Catapult among others.

When I’m not at my desk, you can find me volunteering with the National Association of Science Writers, the Arkansas Master Naturalists, and my local birding clubs.
